Spiritual Healing

We have a healing service every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome to attend. Not sure what will happen, then why not come long and see for yourselves. You are guaranteed to have an enjoyable evening, that applies to those who watch as well as those who have healing. Church Membership

Whilst one doesn't have to be a member of our church to attend services, there are advantages in being a church member. One has to be a full member to attend development classes. One needs to be a full member to borrow library books. Regular visitors to our church usually prefer to take a more active role in Spiritualism and becoming a church member is the first step.

Membership is a two fold process, an application for Associate Membership is presented before the Church Committee and if successful then the individual then becomes an Associate Member of the Church.

The Church Committee may decide to invite the Associate Member to become a full member after the qualifying period which is a minimum of six months.

If you are in an Awareness or Development Class you may be interested in our open circle service on the last Thursday of the month at 7.30pm. The service is specifically designed for those who wish to practice their clairvoyance and working from a platform and meet like minded people and communicate with our spirit friends.

Demand for these tickets will be high, we only have sixty tickets. If you do not have a ticket you will not be guaranteed a seat. Buy your ticket as soon as possible. At our last Special Service despite tickets being on sale for over a month we still had to turn people away on the evening because they hadn't purchased a ticket.

All tickets had been sold prior to the event.

At the last special we had to turn away some 15 people who turned up on the night without a ticket. We can only hold sixty people due to fire regulations. If you want to attend any of our specials you are strongly advised to purchase your ticket as soon as possible.

Oldham Spiritualist Church is situated on Ashton Road Oldham. At the junction of Ashton Road and Goddard Street approx half a mile from Park Cake Bakeries heading towards Oldham Town centre. Fifty yards from St Paul's Church.

TICKETS FOR SPECIAL SERVICES

We regret that we have had to change our procedure regarding tickets for our Special Services.

You can purchase tickets from our church personally, or you can apply by post with a cheque for the required amount addressed to the Church Secretary 157-159 Ashton Rd Oldham OL8 1LD

If you have a ticket for a Special Service you must arrive early for the service. We have recently had people arriving at 7.28pm for a service starting at 7.30pm, this delays the start of the service and disrupts other members of the congregation and the medium.

Out of respect to our Church, to our visiting mediums and members of the congregation please arrive early.

MONDAY EVENINGS

Please note that Monday nights clairvoyance service is our busiest service and you really need to arrive before 7.15pm to ensure a seat. Please turn your mobile off when entering our Church.

Development and Awareness Classes

We have both Development and Awareness classes, these are classes to help individuals develop their own spirituality.

Specifically awareness classes are for those who wish to become more aware of their own spiritual 'side'. Whilst development classes are for more advanced individuals who wish to become mediums/clairvoyants

Anyone can attend our awareness classes and everyone is very welcome to attend.

To join our development class however there are several criteria

The individual must me a full member of our church and have spent a minimum of six months in our awareness class and also must have the permission of the development class leader.

One cannot simply expect to move classes after six months, the Development Class Leader must feel that you have advanced sufficiently to benefit from the development class. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule.

There is a charge for church classes.

Awareness class fees are £2.00 per evening.

Development class fees are £2.00 per evening.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE CHURCH DOORS WILL BE LOCKED AT 7.30PM AND THE LIGHTS WILL BE TURNED LOW. NO-ONE CAN ENTER THE CHURCH UNTIL AFTER THE CLASSES HAVE FINISHED.
